Legendary Silat Warrior - Hang Tuah

     Hang Tuah is a legendary silat warrior who lived during the reign of Sultan Mansor Shah(Sultan of Malaccain the 15th century. He was the greatest of all the laksamana, or sultan's General in that time. The story begin when he accompany Sultan go to foreign countries known as Majapahit with his army. In malay culture, when another kingdom visit the other kingdom, they must have a duel between both powerful warrior to show their respect for welcome sign.

   


     In that time, Taming Sari is a famous Majapahit warrior challenge Hang Tuah to a duel. After a brutal fight, Hang Tuah can not kill Taming Sari because he has a keris or weapon that have supernatural abilities like it can make owner to be invincibility. Then Hang Tuah drop the Taming Sari keris and kill Taming Sari with no mercy. Hang Tuah win the duel and the ruler of Majapahit bestowed upon him Taming Sari’s keris or weapon.









      One day, Sultan had give order to Hang Tuah to find princess Tun Teja for persuade her by Sultan in Indraputra or PahangTun Teja who was already engaged, to become the Sultan's companion. Tun Teja fell under the impression that Hang Tuah had come to persuade her to marry him, not the Sultan, and agreed to elope with him to Melaka. It was only during the voyage home that Hang Tuah revealed his deception to Tun Teja. She was so frusted and kill herself by her knive. Hang Tuah felt sympathy for his all mistake and decide to hide this from sultan.
